Directions on how to use the ADC Advantage 6012N Semi-Automatic Digital Blood Pressure Monitor

1. Position the cuff appropriately on your arm and connect it to the monitor.
2. Press the ON/OFF button (A flashing upward triangle will show once the device is on).
3. When you hear three short beeps with a steady “0” displayed on the screen, use your free hand to grasp the bulb and inflate the cuff to a pressure value between 160−180 mmHg (the upward triangle will begin flashing).
4. As soon as the upward triangle stops flashing, stop pumping the bulb. The cuff will then start to deflate.
5. Lay down the bulb and maintain your current relaxed condition. At this time, the measurement is automatically taken and calculated. The heart symbol on display will start flashing and a beep will be heard for every heartbeat when the device detects pulse.
6. If the monitor fails to take a measurement, refer to the USER MANUAL (included in the package) for further information and instructions.

Care Instructions

Keep the device away from extreme temperature, direct sunlight, dust, and moisture. Handle the cuff carefully and avoid twisting or buckling to prevent damage.  Clean the cuff using a dry or damp cloth. Do not submerge in the water.

Handle the monitor carefully. Do not drop or treat the monitor roughly. DON’T open the monitor as this will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
