Directions on how to use the Advanced Orthopaedics Low Profile Air Walker

Remove the liner from the brace then wrap it around the patient’s leg and foot, making sure it fits comfortably but not too tight. Attach each strap’s end onto the boot. Position the foot flat with the heel in the back of the walker. Affix the uprights parallel to the leg then close straps from the toes up to the leg. If the edema and swelling decrease during the healing process, it might be necessary to adjust the fit of the wrap.

For a customized fit, inflate the air bladder by squeezing the bulb in front of the strap repeatedly until it feels stable on foot with gentle cushioning. Only inflate to a comfortable level and make sure that it is not too tight. To deflate, turn the white knob and squeeze the liner.

Care Instructions

Do not submerge in water when cleaning the air walker as it could affect the bladder’s function. To clean, simply wipe a damp cloth and air dry. Do not machine wash or use bleach to clean.
