Directions on how to use the DARCO PegAssist Offloading Insole

1. Replace the shoe’s original insole with the PegAssist, making sure the blue side faces upwards.
2. Cover the wound or foot ulcer with a sterile film. Using the included marker pen, draw a circle on the film around the affected area.
3. Stand up on the insole in the shoe. The marked area will then be transferred to the blue layer of the insole. Carefully remove the pegs beneath the marked area.
4. Apply the included stabilizer board to the insole. The board’s adhesive backing will stabilize the pegs surrounding the offloaded area, ensuring that they won’t shift.
5. Reinsert the insole into the cast shoe and slide in your wounded foot.

Cleaning Instructions

Handwash the product using mild soap and warm water, or with commercial disinfectants.
