Directions on how to use the Drive Medical Elongated Toilet Seat with Arms and Lock

1. Remove all parts from the package and READ and UNDERSTAND all the instructions before attempting to install the product.
2. Lift the existing toilet seat and place the rear wings of the toilet seat around the rim of the bowl. If your toilet bowl requires, you may have to remove the seat to allow proper fit of the Drive Medical seat raiser. The front adjustment bracket must clear the rim for the toilet seat riser to securely fit.
3. With the toilet seat raiser resting on the rim, straighten and center it over the toilet bowl as needed. Turn the adjusting knob in a clockwise direction to tighten the seat raiser in place. Do not use tools in tightening and do not over-tighten to prevent the adjustment bracket from stripping.
4. Check for a secure fit before using. Do this periodically before using it to prevent slips and accidents. Make sure your weight is centered over the toilet seat. Do not position too forward nor too far to one side as the device might tip.
5. Do not use this device if your toilet bowl’s design does not allow the toilet raiser to fit properly or be tightened securely.
