Directions on how to assemble the Drive Medical M-Rail Home Bed Assist Handle

1. Open the box to remove all parts. Remove all plastic covers and dispose them of properly.
2. The M-Rail can be used on either 2 or 3 cross bars. Choose which best suits your preference. If you choose 2 cross bars, discard the H bar.
3. Snap-lock part A into B and repeat on the other side. Screw parts C onto parts B, leaving the screws loose.
4. If you use the H-Bar, snap-lock part D onto B. Snap-lock part E into either part D or B. Ensure that all snap-lock buttons are properly in place.
5. To tighten or loosen parts for proper fit, adjust if necessary.
6. Remove the mattress. Slide the assembled M-Rail on the mattress and bed frame support.
7. Run the long webbing across the bed frame and underneath back to the M-Rail.
8. Feed the long webbing through the buckle at your desired length. Close the buckle to secure the strap.
9. Lie on the bed and position the M-Rail in the area that is comfortable for you.
10. Tighten the straps firmly against the base or bed frame with the webbing straps straight and parallel.
11. Loop and double-tie the loose end of the long webbing underneath the buckle. Cut off excess webbing to prevent tripping.

Care Instructions

To clean it, simply wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry.

Warning

• The edge of the mattress should be always close to the horizontal and vertical bars without a gap. Do not remove the bars nor put limbs between or under the bars.
• This product is designed to provide support and should not be used to carry the user’s entire body weight.
