1. What is the Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test? 
The Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test is a rapid test to detect SARS-CoV-2 antigens from anterior nasal specimens. This product is intended for self-testing. Only for use with an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).

2. How does the Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test work? 
COVID-19 antigens can be detected in nasal samples using a nasal swab. Watch the instructional video in the product description to see a demonstration of how this test works.

3. When testing with the Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test, do I have to do a serial test?
A serial test is when a person is tested for COVID-19 more than once. You can use one test if you’ve had COVID-19 symptoms within the last seven days. If you wish, you may also perform two tests. More frequent testing may help detect COVID-19 more quickly and reduce its spread. Two tests should be conducted over two or three days if you do not have COVID-19 symptoms or have had symptoms for more than 7 days. The interval between tests should be at least 24 hours and no more than 48 hours.

4. Can new COVID variants be tested with the Flowflex COVID Home test? 
Every time new variants of COVID-19 become available, Flowflex evaluates its test’s performance against those variants as soon as clinical samples with those variants become available. 5. What is the age range for this Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test? 
For nonprescription home use, individuals aged 14 or older can use self-collected (unobserved) direct anterior nasal (NS) swab specimens or adults can use samples collected from individuals 2 years or older.

6. Does this test work if I do not have symptoms of COVID-19? 
No matter whether you have symptoms or other epidemiological reasons, this test is for you if you suspect COVID-19.

7. How many tests are included with the test package?

8. Is it possible to swab my throat/ear instead of my nose?
Avoid swabbing your throat or ears. You must only swab your nose to collect samples, following instructions on the package insert.

9. I lost my swab, can I use a Q-tip instead of the swab?

10. How deep should I insert the swab into my nose? 
Insert the swab ½ to ¾ inches inside your nostril. Children may require a second person to hold their head while they swab, as the maximum insertion depth may not be greater than ¾ of an inch. If the nasal swab specimen is not collected properly, a false-negative result may occur.
