Directions on how to use the Össur Patriot® Cervical Collar

NOTE: This device must be fitted with the help of a healthcare professional

1. Position your lowest finger on the device’s sizing line and choose the size that is closest to your finger’s size. Position the collar on your selected size then press the lock until secured. Ensure that the device is properly locked by trying to readjust.
2. Keep a neutral alignment and select the appropriate size. Slide the collar under (if in supine position) or behind (if seated position) the patient’s neck.
3. Position the chin support then tighten the collar. Secure by attaching the hook and loop strap.

Care Instructions

To clean, simply wipe the plastic shell with a damp cloth washed in mild soap and water.
