PediFix Forefoot Compression Sleeve – Reduces Edema (Swelling) After Injury or Surgery

The PediFix Forefoot Compression Sleeve helps expedite healing by reducing swelling and controlling edema following injury or forefoot surgery, such as bunion and hammertoe operations. Comfortable and simple to put on and take off for bathing or inspection. It can be used on either the left or right foot. Also, it’s hand-washable and durable. Made of reusable material. It’s a simple but effective compression sleeve.

The PediFix Forefoot Compression Sleeve assists in the stabilization of the forefoot. The compression sleeve is made of elastic soft material that helps reduce swelling while preventing skin irritation (Non-irritating Elastic). Also, the elastic sleeve helps treat forefoot fractures.

The Forefoot Compression Sleeve helps to reduce swelling and soreness in the forefoot. After fractures and surgery, the Forefoot Compression Sleeve stabilizes and compresses the forefoot and arch to reduce edema and speed healing. It provides Grade II compression (20-30 mm Hg) to Swollen feet.

Designed to fit all shoes, the Forefoot Compression sleeve is made with 75 percent nylon and 25 percent synthetic elastic.

Acute and chronic swelling of the forefoot can be controlled by wearing this Forefoot Compression Sleeve. It is used to treat metatarsal fractures, inflammatory arthritis of the midfoot, lymphedema, and venous stasis edema. Additionally, it may be used as a post-operative splint for stabilizing the forefoot and treating swelling.

Directions 

Slide the sewn divider between the big toe and second toe. Stretch the sleeve over the foot. The stitched divider may need to be loosened by cutting a few stitches in the loop if it is too tight. Adjust as necessary. The compression sleeve can be worn with most types of shoes. Do not wear it constantly for long periods of time. It’s recommended to wear it intermittently.

Care:

To clean the PediFix Forefoot Compression Sleeve, hand wash with warm water and mild soap. Dry flat with a towel to remove excess moisture. Allow to completely dry before reuse.
