Directions on how to use the Probasics Transfer Bench

From a seated position:

1. Place your wheelchair next to the bench in front of the bathtub. Engage wheelchair locks
2. Start by transferring your torso to the transfer bench then slide your bottom to the transfer seat.
3. Lift your legs into the tub, slowly and one leg at a time.
4. After bathing, lift your legs out of the tub, one leg at a time, and then your torso.

From standing position:

1. Sit on the side of the transfer bench that is outside the tub.
2. Grab the bench’s support arm and slide over onto the bench. Lift each leg over the tub slowly.
3. Slide your body into a comfortable position at the center of the bench.
4. After bathing, slowly lift your legs out of the tub one at a time, then your torso.

Care Instructions

Use mild soap and water to wash the transfer bench. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Air dry completely before using.
