Directions on how to use the Advanced Orthopaedics Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint

1. Sit on a chair with your knee bent. Unfasten the straps.
2. Place your foot in the splint with your heel positioned as far back as possible. Position your foot properly and adjust the length of the strap.
3. To hold the heel in place, secure the instep strap first. Check tightness by extending your knee.
4. Adjust and secure the calf and foot straps.
5. To control the amount of dorsiflexion and stretch, use the bilateral adjustable straps. Pull back the straps to a comfortable tolerance.
6. Secure using the hook and loop closure
7. The additional foam wedge can be placed under the liner for additional stretch. Adjust straps if necessary.
