The DARCO HeelWedge Healing Shoe’s unique wedge design is clinically proven to be effective in offloading pressure from heal by 26%. It features a square toe design that acts as protection to the toes against knocks and bumps.

The ankle straps of this DARCO HeelWedge Healing Shoe position the foot firmly on the shoe eliminating friction and reducing the possibility of heel slippage. It also has a removable forefoot closure that eliminates buckle pressure.

Another great feature of the DARCO HeelWedge Healing Shoe is the dual-layer EVA insole that can be removed or modified to accommodate cast or wound dressings. It also has an optional PegAssist insole that enhances the shoe’s offloading capabilities which is ideal for diabetic wound treatment.

The DARCO HeelWedge Healing Shoe’s zone outsole is specifically designed to have an aggressive tread under the mid-foot where a strong grip is highly needed.

Open the shoe through the closures then properly position the foot in the shoe. Secure your foot by closing the shoe closures.

Care Instructions

Clean shoe with a damp cloth or soft brush then air dry completely.
