This high-quality off-loading shoe features a 15-degree dorsi-angle wedge that effectively offloads the weight-bearing pressure from the metatarsal area and promotes quick healing. It reduces forefoot pressure by as much as 57%.

Aside from post-surgery and trauma care, the DARCO OrthoWedge Off-Loading Shoe can also be used for other conditions in the forefoot area such as ulcerations and infections. Its square-toe design acts as a bumper to protect the forefoot.

The DARCO OrthoWedge Off-Loading Shoe also features a removable forefoot closure that eliminates buckle pressure on top of the metatarsal area. The shoe’s ankle strap also positions the heel firmly and eliminates heel slippage when walking or standing.

Another feature of the DARCO OrthoWedge Off-Loading Shoe is its zoned outsole with an aggressive tread under the midfoot – the area where a strong grip is most needed. It also has a removable multi-layer insole that provides twice the padding of standard insoles.

Open the shoe through the closures and properly position your foot inside. Secure your foot in the shoe by fastening the closure.
