Directions on how to assemble the Drive Medical PreserveTech™ Bathtub Transfer Bench

1. Remove all parts from the package.
2. Lay the bench upside down on an even surface.
3. Attach the legs with large suction cups by depressing the brush push pins and inserting them into the receptacles.
4. Attach the legs with small rubber tips by depressing the brush push pins and inserting them into the receptacles.
5. Turn the bench right side up then attach the armrest by depressing the push pins and sliding it into the arm receptacle on the side of the bench. The arm arcs must be positioned outward and not inward.
6. Assemble the backrest by depressing the push pin and inserting the pole into the receptacle. Repeat this process for the other pole.
7. Insert the other end of the pole into the backrest support by depressing the push pins and sliding it into the receptacle. Do the same process for the other pole.
8. When transferring to and from the bathtub, make sure the legs with large suction cups are placed into the bathtub.

Instructions for Adjusting the Leg Height

1. Adjust the height of the legs to your specific needs, making sure that all legs are equal in height.
2. Once the desired height is reached, lock the legs into the proper place by aligning the buttons into the proper holes.
3. Push down or pull up on legs to test if the legs are already locked in place

Precautions

1. Before assembly, make sure to check if all parts are present. DO NOT USE if shipping damage or if a part is missing. Contact the courier for further instructions.
2. Make sure that all snap buttons are fully protruded through the same respective hole for each leg extension.
3. Ensure that all screws, bolts, and nuts are tightened.
4. Periodically check the rubber tips for wear, rips, or if missing, and replace them immediately if any of these problems exist.
5. All legs’ rubber tips must touch the floor simultaneously at all times.
6. DO NOT stand on the chair to avoid accidents.

Care Instructions

Clean the bench using mild soap and rinse with warm water. Wipe the bench dry after every use.
