Directions on how to install the Moen Home Care Glacier Toilet Safety Bar

Tools needed: Slotted and Cross slot/Phillips screwdriver

1. Attach the rails, one at a time into the back centerpiece. The brackets must be facing forward.
2. To connect the flat bar to the front, fasten it on the open ends of the rail using 1 inch slotted screw included in the package.
3. Remove your toilet seat by unscrewing the seat’s bolts and nuts at the rear underside of the bowl. Remove the bolts, seat, and lid.
4. Place the assembled safety rail on the toilet bowl with the flat bar to the front. Ensure that there is a 1-inch minimum distance from the flat bar to the bowl’s front.
5. Place the toilet seat and lid back in position at the top of the safety bar. The mounting holes of the seat, safety rail, and toilet must be aligned. Insert the seat bolts and tighten the bolt nuts.
6. Test to ensure that the bolt is securely fastened to the nut.
