Directions on how to assemble the Drive Medical Bariatric Heavy-Duty Bath Bench

1. Remove all parts from the carton and check if all parts are present and no damage.
2. How to assemble the legs

• Turn the seat upside down so the screw holes are facing upwards.
• Take the leg receiver and place it into the groove in the seat with the holes pointing upwards. Repeat the step with the other leg receiver.
• Insert a screw into the center screw hole that connects both leg receivers. Do not tighten the screw yet.
• Secure all the leg receivers using flat-head screws.
• Tighten the center screw.

3. How to assemble the cross legs

• Take the 2 leg cross braces. Put them on top of each other with the grooves aligned properly.
• Place 2 washers on both sides of the cross braces.
• Insert screws through washers and into the center hole. Secure with a nut.
• Position the assembled cross-brace in between the 4 legs. Align the cross-brace screw holes with the cross-brace bracket screw holes.
• Insert screw in all remaining screw holes and secure with a nut.

4. How to assemble the backrest

• Take the backrest and the L-shaped tubes.
• Place each tube into the groove of the backrest’s rear face.
• Align the screw holes in L-shaped tubes with the holes of the backrest.
• Place washer on each screw hole and secure the tube using 2 screws for each tube.
• Insert the assembled backrest tubes into the backrest receiver underside of the seat.
• Secure the backrest onto the seat using 2 U-shaped clips.

5. How to assemble legs

• Insert each leg into each leg receiver.
• Adjust each leg to the same height. Align each leg’s height-adjustment holes with the holes in the leg receivers.
• Use U-shaped clips to secure the legs to the leg receivers.

6. How to adjust leg height

• To adjust leg height, start by removing the U-clip from the adjustment hole.
• Set the leg to your desired height and return U-clip to the adjustment hole.
• Make sure that U-clips click into place.
• Repeat steps a-c for the remaining legs.

1. Before assembly, make sure to check all parts for shipping damage. If damage is found, do not use it and contact the seller for further instructions.
2. Make sure the U-clips are fully protruded on the holes of each leg. This will ensure that legs are fully secured and positioned and an even height is achieved.
3. Ensure that all screws, bolts, and nuts are tightened.
4. Check each leg’s tips for missing or damaged rubber and replace them if any of these problems are found.
5. All of the legs’ rubber tips must touch the floor at the same time all time.
6. Do not stand on the chair.
