Which types of chairs are compatible with the Assist-A-Tray?

The Assist-A-Tray can be used with any couch, sofa, chair, lift chair, or recliner with four legs. To ensure proper functionality, the front and rear legs of the chair must rest on the base pads of the Assist-A-Tray, securing the tray in place. The depth of the Assist-A-Tray is adjustable, accommodating chair leg depths ranging from 20″ to 36″.

However, please note that the Assist-A-Tray is not suitable for chairs with bases other than four legs, chairs with round bases, or chairs with leg depths that are shorter than 20″ or longer than 36″. Therefore, it is essential to measure the distance between your intended chair’s front and rear legs before purchasing the Assist-A-Tray to ensure it falls within the compatible 20″-36″ range.

How can I ensure that the Stander Assist-A-Tray remains level?

Adjust the three bolts on the tray hanging bracket to keep the Assist-A-Tray level. Turning the Center Adjustment Bolt clockwise will raise the tray while turning it counterclockwise will lower the tray. Once the tray is at the desired level, secure it by tightening the two smaller clamping bolts on the sides.

Yes, the Assist-A-Tray requires assembly and installation on the chair. For step-by-step instructions on how to assemble and install the Assist-A-Tray, please watch our instructional video.
